Data deleted immediately
When an account deletion request is confirmed, Plantora immediately deletes the user account from the backend together with data linked to that account, including sign-in profile information, saved garden data, plant information, notes, care schedules and statuses, and other related profile data created through use of the service.
User-provided images and content
Plant images or other user-uploaded content that remain linked to the deleted account are also cleaned up through Plantora's backend cleanup process as soon as the account deletion completes.
Data retained after deletion
Plantora does not keep an active account profile available for continued use after deletion. Once deletion is complete, the app returns to a new guest session on the device if the user continues using the app. Any data that must be kept temporarily in technical logs, short-term backups, or for legal compliance purposes, if applicable, is not used to restore the deleted account.
Retention periods
Primary account data and related user data are deleted immediately after confirmation. Any new guest session created afterward is independent and does not restore previous data. Technical records or short-term backups that may still exist because of infrastructure operations, if any, are retained only for as long as necessary to protect system integrity, handle incidents, or comply with legal obligations, then expire according to the system's retention cycle.
