Data deleted immediately after OTP confirmation
After a valid OTP is confirmed, Snaplang deletes user-created or user-sent data linked to the account. This may include language preferences, learning goals, folders, saved library items, uploaded photos linked to learning results, generated sentences, saved phrases, speaking practice records, group memberships, refresh tokens, and FCM tokens.
Identity and sign-in records
Auth identities, email, username, device ID, refresh token, and notification tokens are removed or anonymized. The account row may be kept as soft-deleted for tracking, but existing access and refresh tokens become invalid after deletion.
Email and social sign-in reuse
After deletion, the same email address or social provider can be used again to create a new Snaplang account. The new account does not restore deleted learning history from the previous account.
Data retained after deletion
Snaplang does not keep an active account profile available for continued personal use after deletion. Limited technical logs, fraud prevention records, subscription or revenue records, ad records, support correspondence, short-term backups, and legally required records may be retained only for as long as necessary for security, accounting, compliance, dispute resolution, or infrastructure operations.
Retention periods
Primary account and user-created data are deleted immediately after successful OTP confirmation. Technical logs and short-term backups, if present, expire according to operational retention cycles. Records required for legal, tax, payment, fraud prevention, or dispute purposes may be retained for the period required by the applicable provider, law, or legitimate business need.
